Modern Features of Transformation of Settlement Systems of the Baikal Natural Territory (by the Example of the Olkhon District)

Abstract
The work deals with the spatial organization of settlement systems Olkhon district in modern conditions. On the basis of comparative geographical and statistical methods revealed changes at the level of local settlement systems for the period 2008–2013. Highlighted the processes that determine the dynamics of modern and promising areas of territorial structures rasselencheskih district and reflect the interaction and mutual influence of the population and its living space.
