Reserves and National Parks in the Baikal Region in View of the Contemporary Concept of the System of Specially Protected Natural Territories in Russia

Abstract
The development concept of a system of specially protected territories in the Russian Federation determines the main directions of improving of their environmental, scientific, recreational and cognitive efficiency, improvement of legislation. This article considers their implications for the nature reserves and national parks in the Baikal region. The concept for disordered land relations and for problems with local farms and wild mass tourism is increasingly in demand.
