Abstract

During the expedition cruise of research vessel «Academician Koptug» at Lake Baikal in May–June 2007 the registration of ozone, sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxide and dioxide concentrations as well as the tension of electric field of the atmosphere was conducted together with measurement of meteorological parameters. Automatic gas analyzers were used for measurement of gaseous admixtures, air sampling was organized at the height about 4 m. Electric field of the atmosphere had been measured by electrostatic fluxmeter installed at the upper desk. The registration of measurements was organized at computer with 10 minutes averaging. During data analyses cases with possible influence of engine exhaust were excluded. The analyses of spatial and temporal variations of characteristics investigated shows on well defined daily changes of gas admixtures with the maximum in afternoon. Daily variation of electric field because of weak influence of local coastal factors has good coincidence with global variation of electric field: maximum in evening hours and minimum in the morning of the Greenwih time.
