Earthquake engineering safety of laying in seismoactive areas of south Yakutia with regard to permafrost degradation

Abstract
This paper substantiates the engineering-seismological conditions of laying in southern Yakutia and proposes approaches to the assessment of predicted effects of large earthquakes on foundations with regard to permafrost degradation. It is done using the initial results obtained through a complex of instrumental methods for seismic zoning (seismic impedance, microseisms and local earthquake records) to make theoretical calculations required.
