The paper substantiates the problem stages of seismic hazard zoning in border seismically active areas of Mongolia and Siberia. Solving these problems is attributed to the study of the seismic regime and the modern original seismicity rate of the territory, identification of seismically active areas and the probable seismic potential assessment, determination of seismic models for areas with typical ground conditions, theoretical calculations of essential seismic actions parameters. Methodically the stages of the study for Erdenet city can be the basis for seismic hazard zoning of cities and perspective territories of Mongolian-Siberian region.
