Abstract

Brief description of the geological structure and main ore-controlling structures of the Mukodek gold ore-field are presented. The result of the investigation allowed us propose that three stages of the rock metamorphic and tectonic reworking were responsible for progressive redistribution of gold which was initially scattered in island-arc related rock associations into near-fault high-porous areas and final gold concentration in metasomatites. It is proved that the gold ore-field Mukodek belongs to the gold-quartzsulfide formation of the metamorphic-metasomatic type. The age of gold mineralization within the ore-field Mukodek was suggested as early Paleozoic.
