Abstract
A method for evaluation of spatial variations of ionospheric error in geodetic measurements is described for a global navigation satellite systems used in a geodesy and the Earth Sciences. A numerical modeling based on a simplified analytical model of the ionosphere is simulated for comparison with theoretical estimates of the measurement data. It is shown that the average data for the period of 30–60 minutes is necessary to use for the elimination of random vibrations. In favorable conditions, the variation of the ionospheric error can be used to verify the time changes in the parameters of the ionosphere.
