Landscape-Ecological Framework as a Basis for Targeted Design Using the Example of Organizing a Territory for Recreational Development (Model Area Shamanka)

M. V. Levasheva, L. R. Ryazanova

As part of the study, methodological techniques for organizing the territory for solving applied problems are considered. The organization of the territory is positioned as an important means of managing the interaction between society and nature. The feasibility of using the landscape-adaptive approach when developing the territory’s resources at the local (municipal) level is substantiated. A landscape-ecological framework of the territory has been developed – the base category for making balanced management decisions. Geosystems that are the background for the conservation of the biodiversity of the model site are highlighted. The geosystems forming and regulating the runoff of substances, anthropogenic modifications are distinguished. An analysis is made of the functionality of geosystems for organizing recreation, taking into account the features of the terrain, the nature of land use. At the final, functional zoning of the model site was carried out. Five zones of recreation were identified: intensive use with the possibility of large-area development; transit tourism with the prospect of building individual recreational infrastructure facilities; limited use for collecting wild plants; cognitive recreation of an ecological orientation; reserve territories.
