Development of Taiga Geosystems in the Southern Part of Central Siberia (Research and Mapping)

Author(s)
T. I. Konovalova
Abstract

During the period (Miocene-Holocene) there was a change in the taiga geosystems of the region, which is expressed in a decrease in landscape diversity, displacement of deciduous coniferous forests and further strengthening the dominance of light coniferous geosystems. The methodology of mapping the development of geosystems is proposed, the specificity of mapping in the legend of the map of trends in the development of geosystems through certain categories: indigenous, serial, conditionally-long-derivatives, etc. The article is illustrated by a map compiled on the basis of this methodology.
