Globalization and the current economic crisis have affected many types of economic activity, including tourism. The depression in tourism, which is attributable to the world economic crisis, appeared to be smaller than in other branches of economy. Stability of tourism is due to the growing need of population in traveling and rest under the conditions of postindustrial society, and active measures taken by different states for its maintenance. Stability of tourism necessitates nonstandard decisions, modernization of the tourism industry, and innovative approaches.
