The preliminary results of analysis of aftershock sequences of the Baikal rift zone are given in the paper. Aftershocks of the earthquakes with energy class K≥12.5 (magnitude М~4.7) have been considered. The results show that such characteristics as duration of the sequences, aftershocks number, size and geometry of the epicenter fields and the coefficient γ in the recurrence plot, depend not only on the magnitude of the main shock but also on seismotectonic setting and state of the crust volume, namely consolidated or fractured ones.
