Study of Storm Winds Over the Lake Baikal Using Numerical Model WRF

Abstract
We have studied storms of different directions over Lake Baikal during the period from 1959 to 1971. We used the third version of the weather simulation program WRF (Weather Research and Forecasting). The results were compared with meteorological observations. Conclusions about the possibility of predicting the storm winds were made.
