Cartographic Mapping and Analysis of Transport of the Baikal Region

Abstract
A summary table of symbols and methods of cartographic representation, which is the foundation of semantic classification, based on the analysis of transport maps from the atlases of different levels and content, is developed. The developed classification regulated the formation of thematic layers of transport maps and the system of cartographic indicative mapping of transport as a whole. The transport system of the Baikal region is analyzed with the use of the developed maps.
