City woods and parks of Irkutsk: Attractiveness and Condition

Abstract
The paper estimates 45 greenery objects of Irkutsk with the total area of over 8500 ha. Their accessibility, comfort, uniqueness and other characteristics, measured in points, determine the general attractiveness of these recreational areas. The description of recreational degradation stages together with the description of the condition of the trees result in the proposal of certain measures for planning the sustainable development of the city’s woods and parks.
