Atlas Mapping of Water Resources of Asia: Present Status and Prospects

Abstract
We examine some methodological features inherent in water resources mapping, with emphasis being placed on strategies based the theoretical basin concept and structural geography. A review of the maps from the atlases of Asia and its regions is provided. We suggest the structure of the water resources atlas of Asia consisting of eight blocks.
