Energy Structure of the Optical Atmospheric Turbulence for Various Parameters of the Mean Flow

Abstract

This paper shows the results from investigating physical and statistical relationships of meteorological parameters pulsations over wide range of scales. Analysis of observed data of temperature and wind speed in different weather conditions allowed to obtain the frequency dependence of the spectral density of the turbulence energy / energy of turbulence for strong and weak turbulence in the atmosphere. It is shown that energy properties of characteristics of small-scale (optical) turbulence depends on large-scale irregularities energy.
